AFL Addresses SNF Employee Requirements

The California Department of Public Health has issued an All Facility Letter (AFL) reminding facilities that compliance with regulatory requirements specific to employees of skilled-nursing facilities is important to the goal of ensuring the provision of quality care to residents. Title 22 requirements pertaining to retention of employee records, employee health exams, current licenses/certificates, background checks, vaccinations, and reporting of communicable diseases and outbreaks are listed in the attached AFL.
