Last week, 246 members of the House of Representatives, including 35 from California, signed a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Azar urging him to use his authority to address recent actions taken by pharmaceutical companies that undermine the 340B Drug Pricing Program.

Specifically, the letter highlights actions from several pharmaceutical companies that are in violation of statutory requirements, including those that require drug companies to charge no more than the 340B ceiling price when selling their products to 340B providers, as well as demands for extensive claims data that go beyond the scope of the 340B program.
