CHA DataSuite is a powerful information-based toolset that is now available to member hospitals. The tools allow hospital executives and financial specialists to access timely and accurate financial reports designed to analyze government reimbursement data and drive decision making.
Products & Reporting Calendar
CHA DataSuite offers a full compliment of hospital-specific Medicare reports and summaries, modeling the impact of Medicare proposed and final rules, proposed and final legislative changes, margin calculations, wage survey data reports and prospective payment system report sets for inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, skilled-nursing, psychiatric, long-term-care and home health payments. Medi-Cal-specific reports and information will be developed this year. For the product lineup and 2008 calendar, see links on the right.
CHA DataSuite takes complicated hospital financial data and puts it in a format that is both useable and ready to go for modeling, budgeting and forecasting, decision making and proactive advocacy. The reports are specifically designed to help hospitals compare their measures against industry benchmarks, as well as analyze the potential impact of changes in government reimbursement. CHA DataSuite uses the Healthcare Cost Report Information System database provided by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
The tools are used by CHA staff, who are committed to enhancing and supporting advocacy activities on behalf of member hospitals. Access to this unique service is available only through CHA membership.
