Patricia Blaisdell
Vice President, Post Acute-Care Services

Patricia Blaisdell provides membership support and advocacy for hospital-based medical rehabilitation and skilled-nursing services, policy analysis and interpretation, communication with regulatory bodies and third-party payers, and planning and implementation of educational programs.

Patricia has more than 20 years of experience in hospital and health care management in acute and post-acute settings. She has expertise in rehabilitation and therapy services reimbursement and clinical operations across the continuum of care. She previously held positions with HFS Consultants in Oakland, St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, Laurel Grove Hospital in Castro Valley and BayState Health Systems in Springfield, MA.

Patricia began her career as a speech/language pathologist in Connecticut, where she was active in the development of services for individuals with traumatic brain injury. Her work was recognized with the Outstanding Clinical Achievement Award from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, a master’s degree in speech/language pathology from the University of Connecticut, and a master’s degree in health care management from Rensselaer at Hartford.
