Patricia Blaisdell, FACHE
Vice President, Continuum of Care

Patricia Blaisdell provides membership support and advocacy for post-acute care and case management services, including policy analysis and interpretation, communication with regulatory and legislative bodies, and planning and implementation of educational programs.

Pat has more than 25 years of experience in hospital and health care management in acute and post-acute settings.  She has particular expertise in clinical operations and reimbursement across the post-acute continuum of care.  She previously held positions with HFS Consultants in Oakland, St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, Laurel Grove Hospital in Castro Valley and BayState Health Systems in Springfield, MA.

Patricia began her career as a speech/language pathologist in Connecticut, where she was active in the development of services for individuals with traumatic brain injury. Her work was recognized with the Outstanding Clinical Achievement Award from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, a master’s degree in speech/language pathology from the University of Connecticut, and a master’s degree in health care management from Rensselaer at Hartford. Pat is also a Fellow with the American College of Health Care Executives.
