The California Hospital Association Political Action Committee (CHPAC) provides campaign financing to officeholders and candidates who are committed to better health care for all Californians.

The Role of CHPAC & Quality Health Care for Californians

CHPAC exists to raise money in order to elect, educate and build rapport with elected leaders and officials who understand the important role hospitals play in our state. CHPAC solicits contributions from concerned individuals and companies across the state. Quality Health Care for Californians also raises funds to assist candidates with their election campaigns, usually in cooperation with other stakeholders.

Your Financial Support Makes a Difference

Supporting CHPAC helps ensure hospitals and health systems have a strong voice when decisions are made that impact the delivery of health care. CHPAC/CHPAC-FED works to ensure state and federal elected officials making these important decisions understand the fundamental roles hospitals and health systems play in the future of health care.

Without financial assistance from supporters, few political candidates can afford the cost of a campaign, which can average more than $200,000 for a seat in California's Legislature.
