Supporting CHPAC helps ensure hospitals and health systems have a strong voice when decisions are made that impact the delivery of health care. CHPAC works to ensure elected officials making these important decisions understand the fundamental roles hospitals and health systems play in the future of health care.

Without financial assistance from supporters, few political candidates can afford the cost of a campaign, which can average more than $200,000 for a seat in California's Legislature.
